Academic Code
- Attendance
- A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory in each subject.
- Shortage of attendance may result in debarment from examinations.
- Punctuality
- Students must report to class on time as per their time-table.
- Late arrivals or early departures are discouraged and must be approved in advance.
- Academic Integrity
- Cheating in examinations, plagiarism, and submitting copied assignments are serious violations.
- All academic submissions must reflect the student's own effort and honesty.
- Dress Code Compliance
- Uniform is mandatory for all students.
- B.Ed: Suit-Salwar or Saree (compulsory during teaching practice and practicals from 2nd semester onward), with black sweater/coat in winter.
- Other Courses: Pant-shirt with tie and blazer in winter. College T-shirt permitted on Wednesdays, Saturdays, sports, and cultural events.

Campus Conduct
- 1. Identity Card
- Must be worn visibly on campus. Entry without ID may be restricted.
- 2. Use of Mobile Phones
- Prohibited during lectures, library hours, and formal programs.
- Phones must be kept on silent mode within academic blocks.
- 3. Behaviour & Decorum
- Respectful behaviour is expected towards faculty, staff, and fellow students.
- Misconduct, verbal abuse, or physical altercation may lead to disciplinary action.
- 4. Cleanliness & Environment
- Students must keep the campus clean. Use of plastic and littering is strictly prohibited.
- Damaging college property is a punishable offence.
Anti-Ragging Policy
Ragging is strictly prohibited in and around the college campus. Doon Ghati College follows zero-tolerance against any act of ragging as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- What constitutes ragging?
- Any verbal or physical abuse, bullying, harassment, or intimidation of fellow students.
- Forcing juniors to perform inappropriate tasks or humiliating acts.
- Creating a hostile or fearful academic environment.
- Disciplinary Actions for Ragging :
- Immediate suspension and rustication
- FIR may be lodged under anti-ragging laws
- Debarment from examinations or expulsion from the institution
- Reporting to the Anti-Ragging Monitoring Cell of SDSUV/HNBGU and the UGC
- Anti-Ragging Measures in Place :
- Installation of complaint boxes and anti-ragging banners
- Formation of an Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad
- 24x7 student helpline for anonymous reporting
- Mandatory anti-ragging affidavit at the time of admission
