Zero Tolerance Policy Towards Ragging
Ragging in any form - physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological - is strictly prohibited on our campus. As per the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, our college enforces a zero-tolerance policy against ragging, both within and outside the campus.
What Constitutes Ragging?
According to UGC Regulations, ragging includes :
- Any conduct by senior students that causes physical or psychological harm
- Creating an atmosphere of fear or shame
- Forcing juniors to perform lewd acts, use abusive language, or comply with humiliating demands
- Cyber ragging, bullying on social media, or harassment through digital platforms

Declaration by Students & Parents
At the time of admission, every student and parent/guardian must sign an Anti-Ragging Affidavit (as per UGC mandate) declaring their commitment to uphold a ragging-free campus. These affidavits are maintained digitally and submitted to UGC's official portal.
