About the Course -
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc. IT) at Doon Ghati College of Professional Education is a future-forward undergraduate program aimed at equipping students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills in the world of computing, software development, networking, and data science.
This 3-year (6-semester) program is offered under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework and follows the CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System) approved by HNBGU. Students will benefit from exposure to core IT domains as well as skill enhancement and interdisciplinary learning — preparing them for a wide range of roles in the digital economy.
Eligibility Criteria -
- Passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board
- Minimum 45% marks for General/OBC/EWS
- Minimum 40% marks for SC/ST categories
No entrance exam required. Selection is purely merit-based (12th score)
Admission Process -
- Apply Online : Through SAMARTH Portal
- Admission Start : May every year
- Selection Basis : Based on Class 12th score
- Also Available : Direct counseling and spot admission at the college campus (subject to availability of seats)
- Total Intake : 30 seats only (first-come, first-served basis)
